Volcano-Leprechaun Hats-Faces Craft :-)

This past week #4 Boy had lots of fun working at the table.  He wanted to do a craft.  I suggested something to do with St. Patrick's Day which is coming up.  He suggested, "How about we make a volcano with Leprechaun hats on it and on the hats can be faces of different people in our family."  Sure!  Perfectly logical....(NOT!)  Anyway, as he got into his craft he had a hard time making the green show up on the brown the way he wanted and the faces to look like he wanted so he decided it wasn't worth it.

#4 Boy found a book with some activities in it.  He finished off the rest of this face by himself.  I thought he did a great job!

He has also volunteered to help feed #7 Boy.  A bit messy, but it did give me five minutes rest before clean up.

He also does a great job with word searches.  He found all these himself.
#5 Boy also got into the books and found some just right for his age.  He could figure out the letters and what goes with it along with doing the rhyming and math pages.  He would be ready for kindergarten this fall, but has to wait.  #4 Boy finally gets to go though!

#5 Boy's art work.  I believe the thing right about "DAD" is suppose to be Dad.  The drawing at the left is "a bear with claws"
#7 Boy decided to get into some paint that was on the ground.  I had stepped out of the room for a minute and came back to a blue tongued baby!  This little guy now gets up on all four and crawls around.  It is fun to see the kids grow!
