St. Patrick's Day Fun

On St. Patrick's Day we celebrated with green milk and Lucky Charms.  The kids also hunted for gold coins, but had a hard time finding them until after we got back from IFA.  Then we heard squeals of delight as they found their gold dollar coin and some Rolos in their traps or homes for the Leprechauns.

This was #4 Boy's first year making a trap.  He had to find his coin in his shoe last year and was set on having a trap.  We spent a lot of time hunting for his coin during the day.

On Tuesday #2 Boy came home from school and immediately started writing on paper and hiding them all over the house.  Once he got done he told the younger kids that he had a Gold Coin Scavenger Hunt for them to do.  He read the first clue to them and then went with them on the hunt to help them read the clues as they found them.  I love that he had fun doing it and the kids loved it too!
