Milk Jug Monsters

I found a really cute idea online for using milk jugs to make ghosts, skeletons and monsters.   They also put Christmas lights inside to help them shine at night. So about 3 weeks ago I started setting aside milk jugs.  We go through about 6 gallons a week, so we have plenty saved (in fact we still have more that aren't decorated because we just drink that much milk at our home).  With the kids off track I figured this would be a great time to pull out a fun activity.  The kids had loads of fun, made a huge mess and created masterpieces (just not something that anyone else would want to copy or recreate like the ones that I found online).

#3 Girl using paint to decorate her monster

#4 Boy liked the jewels.  #1 Girl helped him do some eyes and later he added a nose right in the middle of those eyes. He also added a bit of paint to his.

#1 Girl's had hair and many colors.  She also made one with a Popsicle stick nose

#5 Boy played with the crayons a bit, but really got excited when I helped him put stickers all over his milk jug.

#2 Boy first made a ghost and this is Frankenstein.

And this is my lovely counter full of wonderful memories and scary monsters.
