The Daily Life

The daily life gets a little busy at times.  Some days naps don't happen when they are suppose to.  One day #4 Boy was having a hard morning.  Shortly after picking #1 Girl up from school around noon #4 Boy was throwing a fit.  I asked him to stay in his room until he calmed down.  After about 20 minutes he stopped crying but didn't come out.  #3 Girl checked on him and reported, "He fell asleep." I went in and he was OUT.  He didn't wake up until around 6 pm.  But, the best thing about Isaac's sleeping is that even with a long late nap, he still went to bed at 7:30pm.

Crafts are something we have done a lot of at our home.  The kids love doing crafts.  Usually I have had to be involved.  It is nice that the kids are growing up.  #2 Boy was able to follow the instructions from story time and make his own rain stick.  Later #1 Girl helped #2 Girl create her rain stick based off of #2 Boy's.

We also enjoy our Family Home Evenings.  This week I wanted to focus on Christ's resurrection.  So, we used the nursery manual and had that lesson. #4 Boy fell asleep around 6pm and missed FHE but wanted to do the activity today.  #2 Boy helped him color and cut it out.... except the rock.  Do you see that green piece of paper, that is suppose to be a nice round rock that goes in front of the tomb.  #4 Boy cut that one out by himself and loves it just the way it is!

Another thing that happens is that things end up getting lost, broken, or in this case... tangled.  We love our lamp for our front room, but the kids also love it!  This is one of the positions that it was in today.  It changes shapes many times a day.  Hopefully it will be able to last!

Daily Life is crazy, good and we take it one day at a time!
