Camping

My extended family made reservations a couple of months ago to go camping this past weekend.  A lot has happened over the last couple of months but amazingly almost everyone was able to spend some if not all of the time at the campsite.  Many memories were made mostly covered in dust and dirt.  I love that cousins + outdoors = loads of creative fun.  Here are some of the photos of memories being made.  I really should have each child share their memories with me and write them down since I am sure their details would be a lot more exciting than the details I have from my camping chair.  Maybe some day I will do that...maybe...or you could ask them!

The kids had lots of fun tying each other (and themselves) up in the rope around the volleyball pole...and yes... #3 Girl stayed in her pajamas all day!

The dirt slide headed straight for camp and with that many children on it often caused dust storms to blow through camp.  Mix it with campfire smoke and it was a dusty place!  The kids loved climbing it and had a "nest" fort at the top.

Some balls got stuck in the tree so Brother brought over his van to stand on and used a huge branch to try and knock them out.  It didn't really work, but got all the moms worrying!
