California Trip - Day 3 - Disneyland

We were all ready to get to Disneyland first thing in the morning.  But, it didn't open until 10 am.  We headed out, got McDonald's on the way and decided to walk down through the shops again.  Brian and I had decided we would have a caricature done of our family and hit the Lego store while we were there.  The Lego Store wasn't opened but the caricature stand was just setting up her work.  We got first in line and most of us had fun having ourselves drawn.... #5 Boy wasn't so sure and wouldn't do much beside frown.  Later that day we sent a photo of our caricature to our parents via e-mail announcing Baby #7.  It was a great way to share our most exciting news.  The rest of that day we spend in Disneyland.   We saw tons of characters and is the day I took the most pictures. We did some rides together, but there were plenty I couldn't go on and some the little ones couldn't either so for part of the day we split into two groups.  #5 Boy hung out with me because we didn't realize he barely made the 40 inch mark for most of the rides (but we made up for that on Friday).  That night we stayed for the parade and the kids loved it!  We all made our way back to the hotel and flopped into bed.

#4 Boy was so cute and ran up to give Eeyore a big hug! (We saw them while the big kids were on other rides)

I loved that there were three drinking fountains and only half my kids could use them at one time

#3 Girl and #5 Boy

Dad, #6 Boy, and #4 Boy (this is one of those rides that having lots of little ones is hard... most of the bigger rides you had to be 7 or older to ride without an adult in your seat... with 6 kids and only 2 adults it really made it challenging.  They seemed to change the rules some of the times.  This was one where they let #1 Girl and #2 Boy ride together and called it good.  Another ride some adults behind us offered to help.  But there were rides that Dad had to go on 5 different times because I couldn't go on them and he had to go with each of the kids!)

Oh the detail of Disneyland!

#4 Boy and #5 Boy loved riding on this over and over!

#6 Boy even enjoyed it, so how could a Mom not also enjoy it!

They were slowly adding more and more decorations for Christmas while we were there including this fake snow.

#1 Girl in line for Peter Pan.  We got some nice compliments on how well behaved our children were...that is always nice!  People also interacting with Samuel and Levi while we waited in lines.

#6 Boy took some naps but he didn't nap much in the stroller since I would have to pull him out to go on the rides with the little kids, so most of his naps were done in our arms.

This was snapped by a lady that insisted "it is just too cute!  I have to get a picture!"

For our dinner that night we ate along the parade route.  The kids were delighted to have Mickey Mouse Pretzels

#5 Boy (He was still labeled on his arm, Disneyland also has stickers for their names and who they came with, so we used those each day)

The Parade!

Princesses Dancing

#3 Girl had to wave at each and everyone...it was SO cute!  And so many waved back!
