Since going to the Lego Store, #2 Boy has been wanting to earn some
more money so he can buy more Legos. He wants to do some extra chores but I am not the best at coming up with ideas on the spot so he decided to make some paper
cranes, fortune tellers, and paper hats then sell them. #4 Boy joined him in his
business and they made $.50 right away from a sister and a friend. #2 Boy told me, "Mom, this is
easy! We already have 50 cents!" Then the other children decided to
set up shop and split the income between the oldest four. They gathered toys, labeled what each item was and how
much it cost. So, if you are looking for some really expensive
toys...Visit the Shop! (sorry to any of those parents that have
to deal with my children trying to sell stuff to your children ;-)

How do you handle your children's money? Do you do allowance? Do they earn money doing chores?
What about spending? Do they have their own money? Do you really let them buy whatever? Do you guide their spending?
