Hike: Waterfall Canyon

We headed up north in hopes of doing a hike on Antelope Island but Nana called and it was full of bugs so we will save those hikes for another day.  Instead we headed up to Ogden and did Waterfall Canyon.  This one is a little longer, then the one the day before, at 2.5 miles.  The first part of the trail is hiking up along the Bonneville Shoreline and then it heads back into the canyon.  Once into the canyon it gets a bit more tricky and has a lot of rocks to climb over.  #6 Boy didn't want to hike most of the time so Dad had him in a pack and I had #7 Boy in a pack.  The older kids are always a lot faster then I am with the little ones.  I was pretty warn out by the end of this hike and excited to sit and have a picnic at the park.  Evelyn and I took these pictures from the hike.  I love seeing her view of the hikes.

#6 Boy refused to take his jacket off and the first part was HOT.  While he was hiking Papa would put Fruit Snacks on Rocks for him to find.  He would scrunch up his arms and 'run' to the next fruit snack.
