The Human Marble Ramp

On Sunday morning before heading to Stake Conference, #2 Boy had gotten himself dressed and something wasn't quite right.
Do you notice something strange?
Oh Yes, there it is!  He managed to get his shirt on and buttoned his head between buttons
Maybe this should have been our first warning to keep an extra eye on #2 Boy that day, but we took a picture thinking it would be fun to post about, and went on with the day.  It wasn't until we were on the way to church that we realized it was going to be an extra special day.  From the back of the car we hear #3 Girl and then #1 Girl exclaim, "#2 Boy swallowed a marble!"  I don't think it was until #2 Boy confirmed this that Dad actually believed the girls.  We asked how it happened, "We were pretending to eat bubble gum!"  (Not really suppose to swallow that either #2 Boy!)  That is when #2 Boy turned into "the human marble ramp."  I wasn't really sure what to do, he seemed to be acting fine and didn't have any complaints.  Though after a few questions of what would happen, he did want to go to the bathroom right that minute in hopes that it would come out.  He slept for an hour of church and again took a nap that afternoon.  By the time he woke up from his afternoon nap he was complaining of a stomach ache so I decided to take him to Urgent Care.  He was x-rayed and the marble was easily spotted but they couldn't tell if it was out of the stomach and into the small intestines yet.
#2 Boy: The human marble ramp.

Marble rolling down the ramp.
They asked that we see the doctor the next day for a follow up x-ray.  Monday the doctor suggest that we wait until Tuesday for the x-ray.  In the mean time we got to check #2 Boy's stool.  I wish that job on no one!  SO NASTY!
Well, waiting for the x-ray Tuesday morning #2 Boy lost his second tooth.
On Tuesday night, #2 Boy walks into the family room and says, "I pooped the marble out."  With some washing we find that it is indeed the marble, though slightly changed from going down the marble ramp.  This picture shows how he felt about the whole experience.  May none of my children (or really who I am thinking about is ME) experience that again!
Not sure what to do with a marble after going down the human marble ramp - picture then trash!
