Old to New: Dresser

We got a dresser from a neighbor that was moving. It was a little beat up and still needs a couple of tracks fixed.... but, hopefully we can do those soon with just a couple of nails.

Old: Dresser Handles...(wouldn't mind so much if each time one of the drawers moved they all made music)

Old Dresser: Wish I had got a shot of the whole thing with the drawers before I began, but you get the idea... a bit beat up.

New: Our beautiful new dresser

Cost for lovely dresser: $0 for the dresser + $10 for spray paint + $6 for handles = $16

Scripture Words

Our family scripture study as of late...

[Each child is given a common phrase or word in the scriptures ex: It came to pass, the, and.  While Dad reads and gets to one of those words he points at the child assigned the word and they say it aloud for him.]

...not as reverent as they some times are, but the kids love scripture study time.

We also make sure to ask them questions about what is happening so that hopefully they are learning from the scriptures and enjoying reading them.
