Family Home Evenings

We have loved our simple rotating chart for family home evening.  The children each get excited to know what they get to do to participate each week.  #6 Boy is even included on the chart and one of us ends up helping him.  Last week he had "activity" and #1 Girl suggested we play Duck, Duck, Goose.  He loved it!  Last week #1 Girl had lesson and talked shortly about testimonies and asked us each to share our testimonies.  It was wonderful to share our testimonies together as a family.  This week #3 Girl had the lesson and wanted us to "make up a song together and sing it."  We decided on the topic of Jesus and everyone suggested lines that could be used in the song.  After listing lines #2 Boy started to put it to a melody and Dad added the piano to it.  Then we sang it a few times.
