Reunion - Egg Hunt

They also did an egg hunt.  There were millions of plastic eggs filled with candy.  The kids helped spread them out in the back of a truck bed.  Then they were covered with about four huge garbage bags full of shredded paper.  It was a huge hit!

Reunion- Air Force Museum

This is the Air Force Museum through the eyes of #2 Boy. I handed over my camera to let him have a go at taking pictures for a while. It is interesting to see what caught his eye!

During the hands on learning time I reclaimed my camera so it wouldn't be bashed into something.  Here are a few of the fun things they got to do!

#5 Boy loved playing with the blocks

#4 Boy had fun with the airplanes and also made a huge tower with the blocks that was taller than his head.

We also had to stop at the coin drop.  I just couldn't leave without watching those coins go round and round!

#2 Boy in a Nutshell

This pictures describes #2 Boy's age in a nutshell.  He is young enough to still love playing with dolls but old enough to love Lego Star Wars and he is happy!

#2 Boy enjoying life

#2 Boy gets his mind set on doing something and figures it out.  The other day he was playing the piano, he asked for music to 'Gethsemane'.  I don't have sheet music for that so #2 Boy decided he would make some.  He also wrote up a couple of other songs. #3 Girl, #4 Boy and #5 Boy thought it looked like a great idea and followed suite all playing their songs while dancing to them.

#5 Boy wasn't about to miss out on the action!  He loves playing the piano.

#2 Boy also sees things and then decides what to make with them.  Like these old moving boxes in our garage.  He asked me, "Mom, can I have one of those boxes?"  (What for? What are you going to do with it?) "I don't know."  A couple of moments later, "I want to make an airplane."  #1 Girl and #2 Boy then spent the afternoon cutting holes in the bottom of the boxes so their legs could stick out and they could fly their airplanes.

 Then it was on to making a tunnel.

This tunnel is complete with 6 'houses' off of the main tunnel.
