It's Warming Up!

The weather has been getting pretty warm.  We are loving all the time that we get to spend outside, before it gets too hot to be out much in the middle of the day.  The children have done tons of biking, swinging, jumping and playing.  Here are some fun shots of their outdoor play.
Water Fight!

More water fight.

#6 Boy loves riding on the bikes and even tries to pedal.  He is huge and thinks because he is so big he should be doing everything the big kids do.

We got our dirt leveled off and grass seeds planted.  Today I saw a little grass poking up!  Hoping it will grow quickly so we can enjoy it!

#4 Boy told me he is a deer
Sprinklers and Swim Suits
Enjoying the sprinklers

I love #5 Boy's expression!

The boys figured out they could turn the sprinkler heads to make them spray different directions

#3 Girl swinging in the sprinklers

#2 Boy teasing his brothers

I love #4 Boy's delight as he was running

This one I love #2 Boy's smile!

#1 Girl getting wet

Haha... this one made me laugh to see #6 Boy cringe while getting wet

They pulled the trampoline over the sprinkler head and enjoyed the wet trampoline

Our lovely Asters!

Our garden plot has a long ways to go, but thinking back to where it was last year it is looking amazing!

Clematis..I can't wait until these two plants climb all the way up and surround the post!

Primary Talk on Prophets

Primary Talk 5-5-13
Prophets Teach Us to Live the Restored Gospel

When Jesus was on the earth he led the church himself.  He has had prophets on the earth to teach people about him.  For many years there wasn’t a prophet on the earth.
Then, Joseph Smith saw Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father it was so bright like the sun.  They asked him to be the prophet.
Today, the living prophet leads us in the church.  Our Prophet is Thomas S. Monson.  I like having a prophet so that we can be taught by him.
The prophet teaches us about Jesus, being obedient, and being righteous.
I know that the prophets are true and that they teach us what Heavenly Father and Jesus want us to know.  In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Time Together / Chicken Coop Mostly Done

The kids have been off track this past week.  The weather has been beautiful and I have been a bit more tired.  We have spent most of our time at home just being together!

One Day #2 Boy did all the boys hair... parted down the middle with a spike at the back

Who does that remind you of?  For me it was Alfalfa from Little Rascals

playing pass

We have enjoyed playing with cousins and neighbors.  The children have also done a ton of reading, origami (mostly #2 Boy and I), and playing outdoors.

Our tulips in bloom!  We have been loving these beauties and noticing other things beginning to bloom around the yard!

Boys with the Tulips
Dad and I have been working on getting the chicken coop and chicken run done.  There are a few more touch up details but it is mostly done and we love it!
#5 Boy cracks me up in the photo!

Our Coop with the little chicks underneath and hens inside...We have sectioned off the coop and added a roost and a ladder down to the chicken run.

The run is now fully enclosed

#4 Boy opening the coop and #3 Girl locking the gate

The children were delighted on Saturday that Nana and Papa made it down to their soccer games.  It was a beautiful morning for soccer.  While Dad and I worked in the yard the kids had cousins over playing and also enjoyed playing with the chicks.
#4 Boy in the middle of it all!
